KOREJZOVÁ & CO., PLC, is a law and patent office associating a team of experts with long-term practice in intellectual and industrial property rights. The Office employs legal attorneys, patent attorneys, lawyers and experts in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and pharmacology. The Office also provides professional services in other areas, such as construction and civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electromechanical engineering.
We are prepared to support business development of individual entrepreneurs as well as small, medium, large enterprises and supranational corporations by bringing solution for protection of their unique and exceptional inventions in particular via protection of industrial property rights. Our Office represents more than 4.000 Czech National Trademark owners before the Czech IPO, thus ranking among the five largest Offices in the field concerned in the Czech Republic.
We provide a general scope of legal services: in addition to the intellectual property law, we provide in accordance with our Clients’ instructions legal service, in particular, in the field of civil, commercial, administrative and labour law.
Company’s History
KOREJZOVÁ & CO., PLC, commenced its activity on November 1, 2004, and continues its long-term practice of Mrs. Zdeňka Korejzová, LL.D., who had performed in the Association of Legal and Patent Attorneys since 1992. However, the roots of our current activity date back to a pre-November time when Mrs. Korejzová, along with Mrs Zdeňka Šefrnová, M.D., had already cooperated with a number of our current clients under the Law Office No. 10 since 1968.
Since 1992, our country has experienced a great increase in cases related to industrial and intellectual property matters. During this same period, our country has undergone many legislative adjustments that were finalized by the accession of the Czech Republic into the European Union.
Since 2004, a new era of our integration into the structures of European Protection of Intellectual Property began. Our Office has taken this path and actively participates in international cooperation by means of its membership in international professional associations as well as its participation in international conferences.
In recent years, our Law Office has restored the model of providing complex legal services under the banner of Law Office. The company has been divided into the still existing and well-established Patent Office and a new Law Office which offers classic legal aid to enterpreneurs in the field of civil, commercial and labour law.
In order to cover the whole territory of the former Czechoslovakia we have set up a subsidiary in Bratislava, and we are prepared to defend Clients‘ rights, directly representing them in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
